Stencil Design Projects with Wissmach COE 96

Each project in this video is created using Wissmach colored frit powder. Always wear an N95 mask when working with frit powder. 

Each design layer of the project is fired individually. For example, the cat project is fired once, the tulips project is fired twice, and the boat project is fired three times to achieve the design. Here is our recommended firing schedule for each layer. 

Each project requires a top “design layer” and a base layer of clear glass underneath to create a 6mm object. The dimensions of each project are 5”x5”. Here are the colors used for each project in the tutorial.

The Cat: PDF Template
One base layer of clear (96-01)
One layer of oyster pearl (96-09)
Black frit powder (96-02)

Tulips: PDF Template

Olive green frit powder (96-07)
Classic violet frit powder (96-04)

To slump the projects, we recommend using sushi-style slumping molds. Here is our recommended firing schedule.
