Fall Themed Projects with Wissmach COE 96

This latest video from Wissmach Kiln Consultant Drew provides a variety of seasonal project inspiration and instruction.

• Some Projects in this video use frit powder. Always wear an N95 mask when working with frit powder.
• There is only one firing schedule used in this video. It will work for the tack-fused projects and the stencil projects. Because each kiln has slight variations, you may need to adjust the schedule slightly to suit your own kiln.

Here is a breakdown of the glass and materials used to create each project in the video.

Tack Fused Projects

Tack Fused Bat Plate

• One piece of black glass (96-02) large enough for the bat template (PDF)
• One 6”x6” piece of white/grey transparent (96-61)
• One 6”x6” piece of clear glass for the base (96-01)

Hanging Bat Ornament

• One piece of black glass (96-02) large enough for the bat template (PDF)
• One 1”x.5” piece of clear glass (96-01)
• One 1.5” length of pure copper wire bent in half to make a U-shape

Tack Fused Pumpkin Plate

• One piece of orange/red glass (96-40) large enough to fit the pumpkin template (PDF) parts
• One piece of reactive blue/oyster pearl (96-37) large enough to fit the stem portion of the pumpkin template
• One 6”x6” piece of oyster pearl glass (96-09)
• One 6”x6” piece of clear glass for the base (96-01)

Stencil Projects

Bat Stencil Plate

• One 6”x6” piece of honey transparent (96-11)
• One 6”x6” piece of clear glass for the base (96-01)
• Black frit powder (96-02)

Pumpkin Stencil Plate

• One 6”x6” piece of oyster pearl (96-09)
• One 6”x6” piece of clear glass for the base (96-01)
• Dark red frit powder (96-41)

Leaf Stencil Project

• Leaf stencil template (PDF)
• One 10”x10” of oyster pearl (96-09)
• Dark red frit powder (96-41)
