Wissmach COE 96 Casting Billets are available in Crystal, Transparent, and Opaque colors. They are compatible with our COE 96 Kiln Glass Sheets, Frit, Powder, and Casting Cullet for all your creative casting project ideas.
The term “Coefficient of Expansion (COE)” refers to the rate at which glass expands and contracts when heated or cooled. Being tested compatible means our glass is compatible throughout our entire COE 96 glass product line. Our glass may not be compatible with other COE 96 glass products from other companies. When combining Wissmach Glass with other COE 96 companies’ products, we recommend testing to ensure compatibility before starting your cast glass art project.
Glass Casting
Glass casting is the process of melting glass into a mold, where it cools and solidifies into the desired shape. This technique is versatile and widely used in art, architecture, and industrial applications. Unlike traditional glassblowing, glass casting offers more control over complex shapes and details, making it ideal for creating functional and artistic items.
The glass images shown here represent only a small selection of our entire glass line. Please let us know if you want an actual glass sample for any of the missing images.
