We’re doing a little something different for May, but first, let’s report on how April went:
Our April Trivia Quiz had 17 points total possible.
There were 57 total responses.
The average score was 11.51 while the median score was 11. The low score was 7 while the high score was 17!
6 people got all the questions right for a score of 17 and have been contacted to claim their prize. Congratulations to Alice Collins, Patty Topp, Greg Duncan, Jim Girloy, Crispin Reedy, and Victor Neumann!
We’ll post over on Instagram and FB this month about some of the more commonly missed questions from the quiz. Keep your eye out.
Now, onto MAY: Did you make a glass art piece inspired by, depicting, or otherwise related to April 8’s solar eclipse?
THE CHALLENGE
Follow this link to upload a photo of Eclipse-inspired artwork by the end of the day on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Then, DM Wissmach Glass on either Instagram or FB to share the file name you uploaded so we can connect each submission to its maker. We will create an album with all submissions on Facebook for a People’s Choice vote between May 16 and May 31. The winner with the most votes will be notified via direct message from only the Wissmach Glass official Instagram and Facebook profiles. Open to artists and designers aged 18 or older, using Wissmach glass in their work anywhere in the world. Eligible works don’t have to be made completely of Wissmach – but they must have some Wissmach Glass in them. The winner must redeem the prize within seven days of notification. Good luck!
THE SHIRT
Commonwealth Press prints our limited-edition 120th-anniversary short-sleeved shirts, which feature our anniversary logo developed by CWP. They are available in White with a yellow-backed logo or Natural with a blue-backed logo in sizes S through 2XL.
From March through December 2024, Wissmach will run a different contest on Facebook and Instagram, with between 1 and 5 winners each month.
