Fall Factory Sale

Join us in Paden City, WV, for our annual Fall Factory Sale! This is the same weekend as the fall sale at Youghiogheny Glass, only about a 2-hour drive away, so it’s the perfect weekend to get all the best glass deals.
Local food truck Brooke’s Tiny Kitchen will be on site on Friday cooking up burgers, sandwiches, and tasty sides. Also, on Friday, local artists The Beard and the Bun Pottery will have their handmade creations available, as well as samples of creative experiments incorporating Wissmach glass into their clay pieces.
For reference:
- Regular factory outlet pricing for Art Glass quarter sheets range from $10-50 each, Art Glass short sheets range from $14-80 each, and smaller cut lites are up to $4 each.
- Regular factory outlet pricing for COE 96 Kiln Glass quarter sheets range from $15-30 each, COE 96 Kiln Glass short sheets range from $14-90 each, and smaller cut lites range from $4-6 each.
- Regular factory outlet pricing for COE 96 Frit ranges from $9-10 per 1lb jar, $20-22 per 4lb jar, and COE 96 Powder ranges from $15-18 per 1lb jar.
- Regular factory outlet pricing for cullet is $100 for a 50lb sack.

**We limit how many guests can shop in the outlet at one time for safety. As we cannot forecast the number of people or when they will arrive, we will accommodate customers as best we can and appreciate your patience. The line forms outside where there is no cover, so it may be wise to bring an umbrella. If standing for long periods of time is a challenge, we encourage you to bring a folding chair or stool.**
Remember that Wissmach is a working glass factory. No kids. No pets. No exceptions.
To ensure health and safety, EVERYONE is required to follow these rules:
- Closed-toe shoes, long pants, and gloves are required. We also recommend wearing a long-sleeve shirt or arm gauntlets when handling the glass sheets.
- Bring your own containers and packing materials.
- Individuals are responsible for packing glass and loading your vehicle. If you have a dolly, please bring it. If you will need to cut glass down to fit in your vehicle, please bring a glass cutter with you.
**Tax-exempt customers must have a current-year certificate on file or bring a printed copy.**
The parking lot will fill up. Please be respectful of our neighbors when looking for parking in the surrounding area.

- See Pittsburgh Glass Center’s brand new state-of-the-art building expansion.
- See a slideshow of historical Wissmach factory images and images of artwork created with Wissmach glass products.
- Watch various glass classes in action.
- See a pop-up exhibition of artwork made with Wissmach glass products by local and regional artists including Appalachian Glass, Sandra Bacchi, Sarah Cohen, Addoley Dzegede, Jason Forck, Jaime Guerrero, Alyssa Kail, Drew Kail, Ann Landers, Tiffany McCann, Thomas Militello, Aisha Moghal, Thomas Ott, Meghan Tutolo, and Barbara “Shorty” Watkins.
- Not a glass sale.
- See the brand new international glass exhibition smash the ceiling, floor, and wall; take the broken shards and blow them back curated by Alyssa Velazquez, in PGC’s Hodge Gallery.
This open house is free, but preregistration is encouraged.
