Join us in Paden City, WV, for our annual Fall Factory Sale! This year, the sale will coincide with Paden City Marble Fest (PCMF). PCMF will take place in the Paden City Park Campground, along the Ohio River, less than a mile from our factory. Click here for directions.

Fall Factory Sale pricing is available for in-person purchases at the Paden City factory on September 25 and 26 ONLY. Sale discounts do not apply to purchases made through the online store.

If you don’t find what you’re looking for at the sale, make sure to reach out to your favorite Wissmach retail distributor.

On FRIDAY:

  • Local WV food truck Papa’s Belly will be serving up flavorful Tex-Mex and BBQ! They’ll be serving coffee and breakfast items to start, and then switch to a lunch menu later in the day.

For reference:

  • Regular factory outlet pricing for Art Glass quarter sheets range from $10-50 each, Art Glass short sheets range from $14-80 each, and smaller cut lites are up to $4 each.
  • Regular factory outlet pricing for COE 96 Kiln Glass quarter sheets range from $15-30 each, COE 96 Kiln Glass short sheets range from $14-90 each, and smaller cut lites range from $4-6 each.
  • Regular factory outlet pricing for COE 96 Frit ranges from $18-19 per 1lb jar, $39-42 per 4lb jar. COE 96 Powder will not be sold during the warehouse sale.
  • Regular factory outlet pricing for cullet is $103 for a 50lb sack.
  • Wissmach Merch (T-shirts, patches, hats, etc) will NOT be 50% off.

Know Before You Go

**We limit how many guests can shop in the outlet at one time for safety. As we cannot forecast the number of people or when they will arrive, we will accommodate customers as best we can and appreciate your patience. The line forms outside where there is no cover, so it may be wise to bring an umbrella. If standing for long periods of time is a challenge, we encourage you to bring a folding chair or stool.**

Remember that Wissmach is a working glass factory. No kids (under 16). No pets. No exceptions.

To ensure health and safety, EVERYONE is required to follow these rules:  

  • Closed-toe shoes, long pants, and gloves are required. We also recommend wearing a long-sleeve shirt or arm gauntlets when handling the glass sheets.
  • Bring your own containers and packing materials.
  • Individuals are responsible for packing glass and loading your vehicle. If you have a dolly, please bring it. If you will need to cut glass down to fit in your vehicle, please bring a glass cutter with you.

**Tax-exempt customers must have a current-year certificate on file or bring a printed copy.**

Fall Factory Sale FAQ

We limit how many guests can shop in the outlet at one time for safety.

We cannot forecast the number of people or when they will arrive, and we will accommodate customers as best we can and appreciate your patience. We've heard folks report being in line for between 20 minutes and 3 hours. There is no way to predict what time may yield one end or the other of that spectrum, so we recommend that everyone arrive with whatever they need to be comfortable for a potentially long wait.

The line forms outside where there is no cover, so it may be wise to bring an umbrella. If standing for long periods of time is a challenge, we encourage you to bring a folding chair or stool.
We have never run out of glass despite having more and more people attend every year. We had visitors from 23 states last year over both days and over 97% of them left happy.

The outlet area is not that large so we will restock depleted sections through the sale on both days.
We provide a limited number of cutting tables in the outlet area. There are far more shoppers than tables so you may also choose to cut glass at your vehicle if you don't want to wait.

Remember to bring a glass cutter. Or we have glass cutters available for sale at their regular price (not 50% off.)
There are Port-a-Johns on site that shoppers are welcome to use throughout the day.

While there is a bathroom located in our office building, that office is also where shoppers check out with their purchases. To minimize crowding and traffic jams, we ask that shoppers use the Port-a-Johns and not the office restroom.
Wissmach has a limited number of shopping carts available. We encourage anyone who has their own dolly, cart, or wagon to bring it with them.
Yes, we have a parking lot at the factory. The parking lot will fill up during the annual fall sale. Please be respectful of our neighbors when looking for parking in the surrounding area.
We don’t stock our entire catalog of glass products. Since our business primarily focuses on manufacturing for a worldwide distribution network, we make what our distributors order. We always make a little more than the quantity ordered to account for unexpected events in creating a handmade product. The leftovers, as it were, get put out for sale in the Factory Outlet.

The Factory Outlet always has a selection of Art Glass and COE 96 Kiln Glass in various colors. However, no guarantees or predictions can be made about specific colors being available at any time.

Shopping the available glass at the Factory Outlet, during regular outlet hours or during the annual fall sale, should not be compared to more traditional retail shopping experiences. Wissmach is not and doesn’t have a retail store in the traditional sense. Wissmach is a working factory, first and foremost, with a small shopping area. Treat shopping with us like a treasure hunt - you never know precisely what you’ll find.
No. The annual Fall sale is in person only.
There are not many hotels or motels in Paden City. However, the next town over is New Martinsville, and they have several overnight stay options. Also look at AirBnb, VRBO, etc to expand your search.
