We recently put out a call via social media and email to ask who in our community uses Wissmach Glass in their work and is also participating in @officialpeoplesartist, presented by @johnnydepp, powered by @colossal_impact, benefiting @theartofelysium.
There are many entrants, many rounds of public voting (which began May 4), and we’re excited to shout out these participating members of the Wissmach Glass community!
The Grand Prize winner will be featured in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium Salon. Everyone can vote once per day for free, and there are opportunities to vote more by donation. The names and photos below link directly to these artists’ voting pages:

Disclaimer: Wissmach Glass has no affiliation with The People’s Artist or any of the entities running the competition. Public voting takes place over several rounds for about 2 months, so you’ll see artists from all media sharing and asking for votes quite a bit. Succeeding in a competition structured like this will be almost a full-time job. While we’re sharing this initial list to show support to our community, and will keep an eye out to see if any of these artists make it to the final rounds, we won’t be posting about this constantly because we have glass to make!
